Dept of Environment make upgrade grants available.

Phil Hogan, T.D announced a grant scheme to provide financial assistance to households whose septic tanks and other domestic waste water treatment systems, require remediation or upgrading following inspection. Phil Hogan T.D., Minister for the Environment, Community & Local Government today (26th June)  announced the  details of the performance standards for septic tanks at the Oireachtas Committee on Environment, Community and Local Government.
